PassNear is a UK web directory. We process personal data to run search, instructor listings, reviews, support messages and (when you create an account) sign-in.

Who we are

For the purposes of UK GDPR, the controller is the operator of PassNear. Contact hello@passnear.co.uk.

What we collect

• Account details if you sign in (name, email, sign-in provider).
• Instructor profile fields you submit (photo, ADI number, contact details, areas, prices, bio).
• Reviews, reports and contact-form messages.
• Basic usage such as profile views, needed to show instructors their last-30-day count.

Why we use it

To provide the directory (contract / legitimate interests), to moderate safety and accuracy, to take instructor subscriptions, and to answer messages you send us. We do not sell learner data to insurers or lead brokers.

Sharing

Public profiles and approved reviews are visible to anyone who visits the site. Payment, if enabled, is processed by Stripe. Hosting and authentication providers process data on our instructions. We may disclose data if the law requires it.

Retention and your rights

We keep account and listing data while the account is active and for a short period after closure. You can ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction, and you may complain to the ICO. Email hello@passnear.co.uk.

Cookies

We use essential cookies (or equivalent storage) to keep you signed in. We do not run a third-party advertising network in this version of the site.
