A calm, national directory — not a driving school, and not a marketplace that skims your lesson fee.
Learners and parents should be able to find a DVSA-approved instructor near them without paying a platform, handing over a phone number to a call centre, or guessing from a Facebook thread. Instructors should be able to appear in those searches without joining a franchise or giving up a cut of every hour.
That is the whole product. Search is free. Profiles are paid. Contact is direct.
We are launching along the corridor we know: Renfrewshire and Glasgow — Paisley, Renfrew, Erskine, Bishopton and the city — then growing town by town across Great Britain. PassNear is deliberately separate from any single school brand.
The learning hub is a free companion: theory, test-day notes, waiting times with a GOV.UK caveat. It is not official DVSA advice.
