Manoeuvres without panic

Pull up on the right, parallel park, bay park, and the emergency stop.

You will be asked to pull up on the right, reverse, and rejoin the flow. You may also be asked a bay park (forward or reverse) or a parallel park. An emergency stop is used on some tests, not all.

Reference points help, but observations pass tests. Count to the look: blind spots, passing traffic, cyclists, and the kerb. A slow, well-observed reverse beats a fast, lucky one.
